Will we ever know?

Will we ever really know Jesus? Or are we so addicted to ourselves, our pasttimes, our cars, our jobs, and even our religion that we just always seem to miss him. I have a hunch that we will find him if we genuinely look for him. My fear is that we don't really want to.

Why is it?

Why is it that we box everything in? Whether it is our talents, skills, relationships, weaknesses, failures, etc. We need to allow all of these things to stretch us, to expand us, to create newness in us. Ultimately, we box in God and refuse his expansion plans for us. Don't be afraid to be stretched beyond your boundaries.
